Frederick Chambers of High Green.
Frederick ran the post-office, grocery and wine and spirit merchants business in Wortley Road after the death of his parents. Unfortunately whilst carrying a sack of flour, Fred had a very bad fall in the shop warehouse in 1916 injuring his spine. He died the following year. His wife, Trixie, took over the running of the shop helped by her third son, Lee.
