Funeral at Lane End.
This funeral procession with marching band and hundreds of mourners was found in the archives of the funeral directors, John Heath & Sons. But they had no records of whose funeral it was or where the photograph was taken. It is taken at Lane End and with the large number of mourners we believe it could be for a manager of Thorncliffe Ironworks but without the date we have no proof.
