Station Road looking towards White Lane, 1960s. The building on the right is Station Road Methodist Chapel (built in 1884) The chapel was demolished and the area now forms the entrance to Chapel Lodge nursing home. The Commercial Hotel is next to the chapel. On the left is the Izal Factory demolished in the 1990s to make way for housing.
