Harry Woodward, Long Service Presentation. 1970
The presentation of a Long Service Certificate and Good Service Gratuity was made last Friday by Mr. L Godber, General Manager, Sservices, to Mr .Harry Woodward, who retired in January.
Mr. Woodward had a total of 57 years service with the Company. he started work in the collieries and worked in serveral of the Company's pits until he had to leave owing to ill-health. He transfered to colliery maintenance work, and then ironworks maintenance, before eventually joining the Civil Engineer's Department.
