Thomas Edgar Steel
Thomas Edgar Steel who lived on Thorncliffe Avenue. He played in Chapeltown Silver Prize Band and married Mary Ann Bannister. They had a fish & chip shop at the bottom of White Lane and a grocery shop on Thorncliffe Avenue. Mr Steel had a pony and trap. He died when he was 42.
