"Barrowing" reconstruction of an old South Yorkshire way of dealing with lazy workmen, 18th July 1951.
Mr. Joe Mallinson was the voluntary victim in the barrow, his "wife" was played by Mrs. W. French. The "barrowers" included Mr. A. Andrews, Mr. L. Lambert, Mr. R. Jefferies, Mr. H. Rowbotham, Mr. H. Lomas, Mr. R. Hogan and Mr. J. Watkinson.
