Christening the 1000th Churchill Tank at Newton Chambers 1945
On the 2nd May 1945, Managing Director Harold West was a very proud man when the 1000th tank built at Warren Lane was formally handed over by Mr West to Sir Claude Gibb CBE, Chairman of the Ministry of Supply's Tank Board.
