A Gasholder Being Assembled at Thorncliffe in 1888
This gasholder was part of an order for La Primitiva Co-operative Gas Company of Buenos Aires. When the work was completed on Christmas Eve 1888 a supper was given at the Workmens' Hall at 7 o'clock for the seventy men involved. From a book ' A Most Enterprising Thing' page 29
