Burncross Chapel Harvest Festival.
The harvest festival always took place on the first Sunday in October. Members and scholars took gifts of fruit, vegetables and flowers which were displayed behind the altar rail in front of the organ. It was at the harvest festival that the Sunday School queen was crowned. After the festival the produce was auctioned and the proceeds put in the chapel funds.
