Elijah Marsden and Charles, his son, c1900
Elijah and Charles are outside Low Spring Cottage in Hallwood Road, Burncross (then Bracken Hill). It is thought that Elijah, a stone-mason and innkeeper of the New Inn, Bracken Hill might have built this property.
