Brownhill Redfern at Bracken Hill 1890s
Brownhill was born at Bracken Hill and was the eldest son of William and Sarah Redfern. He was a gunner in the First World War and fought in France. Brownhill married Olive Hudson at Howbrook and worked for Newton Chambers. He died in 1969.
