Sitting: Alice, Thomas, Elizabeth, Frances. Thomas and Elizabeth were married in 1841.
The Johnson family were all interested in and involved with the Ecclesfield Beagles. Most of them lived and worked locally. Frances used to help feed the hounds and later she was secretary. Frank kept the Tankard at Ecclesfield for many years. Herbert was a chauffeur for Mr. Bingley of Whitley Hall when he got his first car and Jessie was in service in Ash house, Dore as a parlour maid.
