Black Bull Inn, Ecclesfield - c1908
A group by the Black Bull puplic house in the early years of the 20th century. The doorway of the Black Bull is partly screened by the corner of the first building. The road has not yet been metalled and still consists of compressed mud, animal droppings etc. Mrs Briggs is at the doorway of her house in St. Mary's Lane and Mr J. Bennett, Miss M. Smith and J.A. Smith are in the group.
