Dr Snadden's House Chapeltown

Dr. Snadden's house was built in an area now covered by the railway embankment. When the house was demolished (in the 1890's) Dr. Snadden went to live at Greenhead House.  It is thought to have been built by two bachelor brothers called Falding and lived in by a number of doctors, namely Dr. Campsall, Dr. Aveling, Dr. Stone, Dr, Samuel Drew and Dr. Snadden.
