Charles Albert Falding of Chapeltown, early 20th century. Charles was the youngest of six children. His father’s family were blacksmiths and farmers on Cowley Lane. The old farmhouse was demolished in 1998. His mother was one of the daughters of Enoch Moore, farmer at Charlton Brook farm. Charles married Isobel Mangham of Thorpe Hesley and they had three sons, Edward, John and David.
