Burncross Junior School Funds in Reverse 1986
Burncross School raised money for School funds by taking part in a sponsored walk in the School playing field on Saturday, walking backwards all the way.
Headmaster Bryan Kirbyshaw said he though this would make a novel way of raising money and set a maximum of ten laps around the field.
Some 100 children took part,many of them accompanied by their families.
