Round about 1920, Mr Albert Pack built this house, in a field, for his own family. It was up a cart track, off Colt Lane (Now Ecclesfield Road) and it has now become Cowley View Road. Upstairs there was an extra large bedroom, big enough to take three double beds for his six sons. He later build three bungalows and another house for himself at the top of the road.
