Dransfield family of High Green
Daniel Chappell Dransfield (left) with his sisters, Grace (centre) and Lily about 1915. Their parents were Daniel and Priscilla Dransfield of High Green. The trio were noted musicians who regularly gave concerts in the district. Grace taught at High Green Primary School on Wortley Road and often conducted the Whit Sing on Mortomley Hill.
