Ecclesfield Post Office, St Mary's Lane - December 2004,
The Post Office on St Mary's Lane closed 0n December 8th 2004, this photo was taken on the last day. It is now a convenience store. Elaine Harrison (White Jumper) started working there on the 4th June 1980 when Barrie and Jaqualine Copnell took over as Postmasters and Postmistress. Margaret Savage (Black Cardigan) started in 1990. They both started working there for the "Copnells" until Sid and Mia Safir took over in 1997. We carried on working there until closure in on December 2004.
