Hannah Brodie as a young woman.
Hannah Brodie (nee England) was born on the 13th March 1901, the eighth child of Richard Herbert and Florence England in Grenoside. In 1997 she recalls her story in a book called "Growing up in Grenoside" Published by Chapeltown and High Green Archive.
