Painted rocks - Covid snake
This is our Covid snake. On our walk we pass the railings to St Mary's Catholic Primary School (just above Paces). Over many weeks the children (of Primary Care workers) created this by painting and decorating stones. It grew and grew until it became very long and curly indeed. Although it was in a place where the general public walked by, the stones were never moved or damaged, and people always stopped to admire them - especially the children who would often pick one up to feel the texture of the stone, then carefully replace it.
