Chapeltown Fishing Club.
Fishing has always been a popular pastime whether on local waterways and ponds or on special excursions to venues in Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire. Here we see four be-capped anglers from Chapeltown Fishing Club in the early 1900s on an angling outing accompanied by their womenfolk. The ladies are bedecked in their best hats and the gentlemen are wearing their watch chains in their waistcoats.
