Thorncliffe Musical Society, cast of 'Hiawatha'
The nearly 40-strong cast of Hiawatha, performed by Thorncliffe Musical Society in 1947, pose in Chapeltown Park. Nothing had been spared to create an authentic looking cast including moccasin footwear, costume, hairstyle and head dress. Park users must have been very surprised at seeing this large party of Native Americans far from home!
