Hollow Gate, High Green.

The view is from Greengate Lane looking towards Hollow Gate in the 1920s. In this period several new roads were made in the area to improve communications for motorised traffic and to provide work for the unemployed. Prior to the re-building of this road through the rock outcrop it had veered off to the left in front of Charlton Brook Farm before emerging again above the Bridge Inn.
