Stoneygate Primitive Methodist Chapel, High Green. This chapel was built in 1877 and is now demolished. Members long associated with Stoneygate were the Bassinder, Vickers, Bostwick, Jackson, Dransfield, Furness, Ashton, Lockwood and Bolton families. The first couple to be married at Stoneygate in 1938 were Len Smith and Doreen Ashton.
