Last cast at Parramore's Foundry.
Shown here is the last cast being produced at Parramore’s foundry, the Caledonian Works, next to Smith Street in Chapeltown in 1981. The foundry was founded by Fred Parramore in 1904. The firm specialised in light castings and supplied many famous names in British industry.
